Evaluation of the Ident..

Editing.... what i did and why.

  1. Captured Ident on the Apple Mac using Premier pro.
  2. Muted the original sound which is of me directing my little sister the actor
  3. Cut and deleted sections i didn't need
  4. Used a digital camera to film the Ident.
  5. At this point i had to just play around with the speed/ duration from 100% to anything  between 500% i finally went with 250% and 300% in ser4tain areas. I found it too slow so i tried 400% which worked but not at the beginning were the camera moves the sceen jumps around to much.
  6. My ident was suposed to look like a laurel and hardy film but modern with colour, however the grain effect on the mac don't work so i could use it unless i paid to upload it and if this was a real ident i would but its only for A level.
  7. I also had to rotate and crop the screen to drop out the graveyard, ed and the chickens which kept walking onto my set.
  8. What makes a great laurel and hardy film? The music which complements the scene and comedy, so i downloaded slapstic music from youtube but then downloaded it on to audacity so i could edit the music. I changed the tempo of the music to suit the film.
  9. Once finished editing the music i exported as a wav file and imported into premiere pro.

The Laurel and Hardy at the bottom in colour is what i was aiming for in my ident that was my first inspiration but to make it appeal to the younger generation.
  10. I used mainly two different effect dissolve and dip to black. However i tried to experiment with th noise and grain to make my ident look like an old black and white movie.
  11. I downloaded the count down at the beginning of my ident off mega upload site, were it shows old movie counts downs.
  12. I also learnt how to rotate, right click and select motion then click rotation then at effects control manually typed in how much to rotate.
  13. I also discovered how to embed video's on blogger using video platforms such as youtube by selecting new post click in video from youtube then you have to type in the http: code.
